Please make it stop. Just end it already. The local kids were throwing rocks at me again. I could understand why though.
I'm a freak and an orphan, so they could pick on me as much as they wanted to."Ha! Look at her! Shes crying! Oh you gonna go crying to your mommy?
Oh thats right you don't have one!" "Throw some more rocks at her." All of a sudden I heard a loud boom, followed by many more."Crap a giants coming. Run!"
I felt someone watching my trembling body. Someone watching me in my pitiful existence. I looked up to see a giant crouched down staring at me. I could feel my
heart racing in my chest. This giant looks different than the others. He has blue skin.
I was so out of breath that the only words I could say were, " Please....Help...please..." And then I passed out from blood loss I guess.
------------------------------------------
I woke up somewhere warm and soft, I looked around me and noticed that it was night. Then something caught my eye. I looked next to me and was terrified at what I saw.
The giant was sitting right next to me! I looked up to see a huge hand coming down towards me. I ducked down and began to cry, fearing that he was going to squish me.
When I felt him gently grab me I calmed down. He carried me until I was eye level with him and said, " What's you're name?" I choked out, "I- I'm Nami."
"Are you okay?" He asked. "I think so. But I'm scared." "Don't be. I don't have any reason to hurt you." His voice seemed to have so much kindness in it that
I had to believe him. I looked at his face and he was smiling at me. "Are you tired? Being unconcious makes you really tired." Right when he said that I felt really tired.
"Yeah. I'm really tired actually." "You can sleep with me If you wan't." He said. "I-I guess I will." He gently set me down on his bed and walked away saying,
"One minute." I can't help but be scared. Perhaps its because everyone that I've ever known has died, hurt me, or both. As I sat there thinking about my misfortune I didn't
notice him come back and lay down. Well at least until he picked me up and layed me on his bare chest. I was wondering if he was one of the human/vampire eating giants,
so I asked,"What's your name?" "I'm Kisame." I began trembling. He's one of the giants that eat vampires! I slowly stood up and jumped off his chest and began running towards
the edge of the bed. I heard him get up but I would'nt turn back to face him. Why do I have to die like this? As I got closer to the side of the bed
I decided I would Jump. It would be better than being digested. Right when I was about to jump he grabbed me and held me in his fist with just my head sticking
out over his fingers. He was holding me tightly now, knocking the air out of me. He lifted me up to his face, somewhat closer to his mouth than before. " I didn't wan't to have to do this to
you but since you're gonna try and run away from me, I'm gonna have to put you in here." He said loudly practically making me deaf. He threw me into a cage about one hundred feet off the ground.
I don't wan't to know what tomorrow will bring.
------------------------------------------
I woke up to Kisame yelling ,"wake Up Bite Size!" He reached his hand into the cage and yanked me out. He put me in his pocket and said, "If you try to get out I'll kill you right away."
I decided to just take his word for it, instead of finding out the hard way.
I could tell he was outside now, because I was shivering from the cold. It was the middle of December but I bet he wasn't affected by the cold, seeing as his body temperature is
way higher than mine. I huddled up against his side, trying to stay warm. I fell asleep after a few minutes of trying to stay awake.
I woke up to the sound of two loud voices. I instantly recognized one as Kisame's, but I couldn't tell who the other beloned to. I heard the other voice say,
"so...You're not going to eat her?" Then I heard Kisame say, "No. She was just scared so I could understand her running away. Or trying to anyway." "It seems as though you actually like her Kisame."
"Hm." For once in my life I felt wanted. It as a good feeling, and I liked it. Like an alcholic likes wine. "Okay. You still wanna see her Itachi-san?"
"yeah." Kisame's hand came down towards me. I didn't panic though. I was too happy to panic. As he pulled me out I saw the huge body of another giant. He was patiently holding
out his hand, waiting for Kisame to set me down on it. When he did set me down I felt scared. The way he looked at me with his red eyes terrified me. I trembled and backed away from his body.
He smiled at me. It was a warm smile but it still scared me. "She's cute. Whats her name?" "Her names Nami." "hm." Then he gave me back to Kisame. Kisame gently grabbed me. I looked up at him and smiled.
He smiled back and I began to blush because of his smile. His smile was one that a girl would get from her boyfriend. He's not an unattractive man, I mean once you get past the blue skin and gill like
markings on his face. I can't believe I'm saying this but I think I'm in love with him.
--------------------------------------------
On the way back to his house he took me out of his pocket again and held me tightly in his hand, but I could tell he was holding me tightly because he was scared that he would drop me. I looked up at him
wondering what he was going to do with me. He smiled at me and continued walking. He was just holding me. Not talking or anything. I was shivering though. He noticed and put me in his pocket again.
I decided that I might as well try to sleep before he gets back to his house. I wish that I could sleep, just to pass the time, but I couldn't. No matter ho hard I tried sleep wouldn't come.
I was still cold so I huddled against his side again, instantly warming up. I wonder if he's going to stay this nice for very long. Why isn't he going to eat me? Sure he understands that I tried to run away
because I was scared, but why keep me alive? Maybe he'll tell me maybe he won't. Theres not much that I can do about it. A few minutes later his hand reached into his pocket and grabbed me.
When he took me out he set me on his bed. He walked into another room without saying a word and came back with a bowl of water. I was wondering what this was for until he said, "You can wash off in this.
You have dried blood on you from the other day." I remember that day as nothing but a blur. "Don't worry I won't look." "O-Okay thanks." He walked to another room and I took off my clothes and stepped into the
bowl. The water was nice and warm. It was all around relaxing. I dunked my head underwater so as to get my hair wet and when I came back up Kisame was walking across the room and sat down at a desk.
He began to look at some papers. I was still relaxed despite the fact that he could come over here and watch me if he wanted to. I was still relaxed because he couldn't see me from were he was. I can't believe
how calm I am right now. After a few minutes I got out of the makeshift bathtub and Kisame was coming towards me. I scrambled to grab my clothes and fell to my nees holding my shirt and pants over my exposed body.
He laughed a bit as he took away the bowl and dumped the water in a sink in another room. When he came back he stood by the bed and turned around. "Don't worry Nami. I won't look." I hurried into my clothes, scared
that he might look. "Okay! I'm dressed now!" He turned around and sat down next to me. "You don't seem as scared as you did earlier." "Probably because I'm not scared anymore." He looked at me curiously and said " Whys that?"
I couldn't tell why. Maybe its because I trust him now."I don't know why, I just know I'm not scared." "Hm. How old are you Nami?" "I'm eight." "Why weren't you with your family when I found you?" when he said this I
felt a sharp pain coming from where my heart should have been. I finally summoned enough strength to say, "I don't have a family. They were Killed." "oh. I'm sorry I didn't know." "Don't worry about it. I didn't know them
so it doesn't really matter." He brushed his finger against my face. After a few seconds of wondereing why he did this I realized I was crying. "Thanks Kisame-sama. For everything." "Don't worry about it little one."
He got back up and walked to the door. Before he opened the door he said "Hey Nami, whats your favorite color?" "Anything dark." "Okay. Thanks." Having said that he left. I felt terrified the moment he left. I don't know if it
was because I was alone in a giant's house or if it was something else, but I was scared. I guess I should look around. I bet he wouldn't mind. I got up and walked to the side of the bed and looked down. It was about a 100 foot
drop to the floor. I heard the locks open and saw Kisame come back in. "What do you like to do little one?" He asked. "I like to draw." "Okay thanks." He left right after saying that.
I decided that I should do some exploring now since I might not be able to later. I grabbed onto the blanket and started climbing down to the floor. After a few minutes of carefully climbing down the side of the bed I finally
was touching the floor. I started walking towards a huge bookshelf. The books were arranged so messily that I could easily climb up the bookshelf. On the way to the top one of the book titles caught my eye. It was a fairytale book.
I was interested in it so I went behind the book and pushed the book of the side of the shelf. It landed on the ground with a loud bang. The sound made me jump, but I was able to keep my balance on the narrow edge of the bookshelf.
I began climbing down even more carefully than I did going down the side of the bed. The reason I did this was to make sure one of the huge books didn't fall on me. Whe I got to the floor I opened the book. I turned to the first story.
The story was Jack And the Beanstalk. I began to read the story about the boy who was given some magic beans and planted them. The beans grew into a huge beanstalk that led to a magical land in the clouds where giants lived.
The giant in this story wasn't as nice as Kisame-sama is, and he looked really ugly while Kisame-sama doesn't. I got so into the book that I didn't notice Kisame-sama come in and sit down in front of me until he said,"Hey Nami I brought
you some presents." I jumped back when he said this since I didn't notice him at first. He had a confused look on his face. " Oh! Sorry Kisame-sama. I didn't notice you at first." "Its okay Nami. Here I got you this." He pulled out a
notebook and a pencil box. "thank you Kisame-sama! I always wanted my own notebook." He smiled at me as he handed me the notebook and pencil set. "What are you reading Nami?" He asked. "It's a fairytale book." "Do you like it." "Yes. Its
a good book." "hm." He laid his hand, palm up, on the ground for me to step onto. I stepped onto it and he carried me to a desk and then he gently set me down on the desk. "I have something else for you." He put his hand in his pocket and
pulled out a black dress. It was just doll clothes to him but it was perfect for me. I'm not really a dress person but I could make an exception for him. "Go ahead and change into it if you want. I won't look." He turned around as I put my
new dress on. It really was my perfect size! The dress went down to my knees and had lace underneath the soft black fabric. "So, do you like it Nami?" Kisame said suddenly. " Yes! I love it Kisame-sama! It's my perfect size too!"
"Well I'm glad you like it. I'll be right back. Gonna take a shower. You keep reading that book if you want." He set out his hand ,and after I stepped onto it he set me down on the grond by the book.
